(not) a love, fleury post

I have been slowly introducing the pup to the sewing room and teaching him good sewing room manners. Basically, lay down on the quilt on the floor and be a good dog so mama can get some sewing in.

Unfortunately, he likes fabric scraps as much as I do...

puppy + sewing room = disaster

puppy + sewing room = disaster
....and tries his own paw at designing.

And recently, he tried his hand at sewing, but he couldn't quite figure out how the machine worked...

this just happened.
....and murdered it instead.

Later, he gave me lots of kisses to try and make up. But I learned my lesson: do not trust a cute puppy. This face - it does bad things.

did i do something wrong?

  6. I understand completely. My cats peed in my fabric bin a couple weeks ago :( Fabrics were saved by some baller cleaner and a good washing but I was mad at them for a good week and a half. Not cool, pets! I can't believe that entirely chewed through cord though, I made a really horrified face when I saw the picture!

  7. Glad I've ust got a tortoise. He lives in the garden so he has never been a problem quilt wise - although he does try to bite my oes when I put the washing out. Hope the pedal can be fixed soon!

  8. That is absolutely hilarious! My kids do this to my projects, so I can totally sympathize. He does have a very cute face though!

  9. Sorry to be laughing at your pain here. I'm with Hydee Ann, my kids do the same thing to the sewing room, with the exception of the cord because that's frowned upon by other mothers to let your actual offspring do that, though they'd probably would have loved the chance when they were teething. I hope you have better luck with baby E. Though kids also give you kisses to try to get away with all the intended destruction.
